I have a fear of dentists that's practically proverbial. We're talking clammy hands, incessant blabbering, a pounding heart... a pattern well supported by some fairly subpar childhood dentistry.After almost a decade of relying on home care alone, I finally decided to face the music. An AI search initially led me to a popular clinic where I felt infantilised for voicing my concerns and was steered towards in-house services that weren't my priority at the time.So I took my dental story elsewhere and chose Hampshire Dentists, based on their accreditations, specialties, location and reviews. That's where things got better.The practice feels calming: nice solid door, the kind where even spiders clean their feet before knitting on a new web, tall ceilings, crisp colours palette, sharp cornice moulding and neutral smell, none of the bone burring malarkey that has you turning back to your car. As someone who appreciates a dust-free surface and perhaps through the nature of my occupation, I'm good at noticing details. And extra points to Dr Hanna for the impeccably clean scrubs!Most importantly, though, it's the people. Rachel, Zarnab, Vaida and Dr Hanna have treated me with kindness, professionalism and genuine reassurance when I've felt at my most vulnerable. It doesn't go unnoticed and I'm grateful for the care you've shown me. These gnashers need looking after, and I can't thank you enough for your skill and patience.P.S. My wisdom tooth extraction took about five seconds and I barely needed a single paracetamol later in the day. I'm keeping the ugly bugger as a souvenir of the three years it took me to work up the courage to have it removed. Now I'm contemplating a gold tooth to garnish the empty socket. 😜

Definitely the best check up I’ve ever had. Having some excellent on-going treatment with Dr Robin, which consists of Invisalign followed by some added extras at the end. So far, I think he is an amazing dentist; incredibly precise and so gentle. I trust his work and would also go to him if I needed any major dentistry as he prides himself on being pain-free. Looking forward to seeing a dentist isn't my usual feeling but going to Hampshire Dentist is a very different experience. Firstly the reception team are friendly and efficient putting everyone at ease. My treatment was painfree and I also learned a lot from Dr Rob as he skillfully went about restoring a bridge. His knowledge and state of the art equipment is very impressive. More visits will be needed and I can honestly say I look forward to seeing Dr Rob and his colleagues again.

After meeting Dr. Andreas in person, I decided to book an appointment with them. I had an issue with one of my teeth and was given the option of getting a crown or a filling. Dr. Andreas explained everything clearly and gave me advice on which option to choose. I opted for the filling and the receptionist scheduled my appointment for the following week. The entire process went smoothly from start to finish. The tooth required a lot of grinding before the filling, leaving only one third of it remaining, so I know it was a difficult job. Nevertheless, Dr. Andreas and their team did an exceptional job. I would undoubtedly recommend their services, and I give them a 5-star rating without hesitation.
